Senator Clay Scofield Presents Community Service Grant Funding to DAR Schools

Senator Clay Scofield presented Community Service Grant awards to Kate Duncan Smith DAR Schools during half time at their home football game on Friday, September 25th. 
KDS DAR Elementary School, Middle School and High School each received $15,000 to assist with educational related expenses.  Representatives from each school along with Marshall County School officials were on hand to mark this special occasion. 
Senator Scofield commended these schools on their diligence, hard work, and continued excellence. He is pleased to be able to present these funds to further educational needs of the community. 

To cap off the evening, the Patriots went on to defeat Pisgah 28 to 14.
