Senator Clay Scofield Presents Community Service Grant Funding to Douglas Schools

Senator Clay Scofield presented Community Service Grant awards to Douglas Schools prior to their Homecoming football game on Friday, September 25th. 
Sloman Primary School, Douglas Elementary School, Douglas Middle School and Douglas High School each received $11,250 to assist with educational related expenses.  Representatives from each school along with Marshall County School officials were on hand to mark this special occasion. 
Senator Scofield is pleased to be able to present these funds to further educational needs of the community.  “The commitment and drive of the students and staff of the Douglas Schools is something special and I am honored to be a part of this special Homecoming night.- Senator Scofield”
