Heroes of Kings Mountain Flag Collection Project.
The Heroes of Kings Mountain DAR chapter currently has flag collection bins located at the Guntersville and Arab libraries. Flags that are worn, torn, tattered, or faded may be dropped off in the collection bins at these locations any time until the end of February 2022. In March of 2022, the flags will be taken to the Alabama State DAR conference and submitted for retirement.
