Lawmakers give to youth football
Rep. Kerry Rich, Sen. Clay Scofield and Rep. Wes Kitchens presented a legislative grant to Guntersville Youth Football League totaling $5,977
The funds will be used to purchase new helmets for the upcoming youth football season.
“I know that organized sports help our young people learn self-discipline and teamwork, but I want them to be safe. This investment is a small price for new helmets to protect the players,” said Sen. Scofield.
