Marshall County District Attorney Everette Johnson of Arab, right in both photos, was recently recognized at the annual Alabama District Attorneys' Association conference.  Johnson was named the Alabama District Attorney of the Year by the Alabama Senate for his years of service.  He is pictured with Sen. Clay Scofield, also from Arab, in the photo at right.  Johnson has been in the Marshall County District Attorney's Office for more than 30 years, as an assistant district attorney, chief assistant district attorney, and for the past five years , as district attorney.  He is set to retire in January 2023.
